The gardens of Vienna’s Ringstrasse look back on a history of more than 200 years: the „Rathauspark<\/strong>“ as an event zone, the „Volksgarten“ with the Theseus Temple<\/strong> and the monument to Empress Elisabeth, and the „Burggarten<\/strong>“ as a former imperial private garden with its unique monuments are particularly appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The largest park on the Ringstrasse, however, is the „Stadtpark<\/strong>„. It is dedicated to artists and musicians and the Kursalon at the edge of the park was once the workplace of the famous Johann Strauss the Younger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet in front of the Burgtheater<\/strong> on the Ringstrasse at the edge of the city center, which you can reach in a few minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Cathedral.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a short introduction, we will start by visiting the Rathauspark<\/strong> with its exotic plants and important statues that remind us in many ways of the history of the City of Vienna.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we head to the Volksgarten<\/strong> with the Temple of Theseus and the Monument to Empress Elisabeth. This park is a feast for the eyes, especially in spring during the blooming of the roses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Via Heldenplatz we go to the former imperial private garden, the Burggarten<\/strong>. This is particularly appreciated as a hot spot, not least because of the beautiful palm house.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stroll past the Albertina and the State Opera to the Stadtpark<\/strong> and, next to the Kursalon, visit the city’s most famous statue <\/strong>of the waltz king Johann Strauss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the guided tour you will not only learn about the history, important personalities and the unique flora on the Ringstrasse. In addition, I also give a variety of tips and recommendations about other sights of Vienna.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quality<\/strong> is my highest priority and therefore the tours always take place target group oriented and in a relaxed atmosphere!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
